Schritt für Schritt – Step by Step
Diesmal war ich besser vorbereitet und habe Fotos meiner einzelnen Schritte gemacht. Das wichtigste ist, keine Angst vor dem experimentieren zu haben. Falls es schief läuft, fängt man einfach nochmal an, nur etwas anders !
This time I was better prepared and took some pictures of the single steps. Most important, do not be afraid to experiment. In case it goes wrong you can always start over again, just in a different way !
Ich hatte einen mit der Rose geprägten Hintergrund über, der mir nicht so gefiel. Also dachte ich, ich probiere einfach mal die Alkohol Mixatives aus. Hier habe ich die Farben Gold und Gun Metal und die Alcohol Pearls Farbe Mineral grosszügig aufgetragen.
There was an embossed background of the rose lying around that I did not like that much. Therefore I felt like trying out the Alcohol Mixatives. I used the colours Gold and Gun Metal as well as the Alcohol Pearls Mineral and covered the background generously with it.
Um die Rose besser zu definieren, habe ich meinen Prägeordner zunächst mit Distress Oxide Dusty Concord eingefärbt, alles nochmal geprägt. Weiter habe ich Archival Ink Dusty Concord und in einem weiteren Schritt Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry in der gleichen Art und Weise eingesetzt.
In order to define the rose better, I coloured my Texture Fades Rose with Distress Oxide Dusty Concord and embossed it again. To follow up I did the same with Archival Ink Dusty Concord and again with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry.
Das ist das Ergebnis und der Prägeordner sieht selber wie ein Kunstgegenstand aus. Keine Sorge, den bekommt man wieder sauber !
That is the result and the Texture Fades Rose looks a bit like artwork itself. Don’t worry, it will clean up perfectly !
Jetzt kommt der eigentliche Trick an der Sache. Damit sich die Farben besser verbinden setzte ich gerne Haarspray ein. Ja ! Richtig gehört ! Es fixiert die Farben und lässt sie verschmelzen, ein Effekt den ich gerne mag.
Now comes the real trick. In order to melt the colours together I love working with hairspray. Yes ! You heard alright ! It fixes the colours and connects them, an effect I am very fond of.
Für den unteren Teil habe ich Distress Spray Stains Picked Rasberry und ganz wenig Dusty Concord sowie Distress Mica Spray Tarnished Brass und Antique Bronze eingesetzt. Die Borte ist mit dem Mixative Gold eingestrichen und mit Archival Inks Picked Raspberry und Dusty Concord gefärbt.
For the lower part I used Distress Spray Stains Picked Rasberry and just a little Dusty Concord as well as Distress Mica Spray Tarnished Brass and Antique Bronze. The trim was painted with the Mixative Gold and Archival Inks Picked Raspberry and Dusty Concord rubbed over it.
