Heute war ein toller Sommertag, da habe ich richtig Lust bekommen einmal wieder eine Sommer Karte bzw. ein Wandbild zu arbeiten. Und wenn’s warm ist, dann gibt es nichts besseres als Wasser zur Abkühlung. Ich wollte mit diesen Dies schon eine ganze Weile etwas machen, et voilà. Ich habe wie schon zuvor für die Hintergründe Papiere genommen, auf denen ich vorher Papierschnitte eingefärbt hatte. Die Farbgebung ist also reiner Zufall. Diese eignen sich hervorragend für solche Arbeiten. Als ich ein Foto machen wollte, schien die späte Nachmittagssonne auf das Bild und hat nicht nur die Farbpalette verändert. Es hat das Bild durch das Schattenspiel richtig lebendig gemacht.
Today was a beautiful summer day and I felt like creating another summer card or rather a little wall picture. And when it is warm water is the best way to cool down. For a while I wanted to create something with these dies, et voilà. For the backgrounds I made use of some papers that I coloured some paper cuts on. So the colouring is random. They are fantastic for these projects. When I wanted to take a photo the late afternoon sun shining on it changed the colour palette. And the shades give the impression it is alive.
