Der Professor von Tim Holtz ist abgetaucht und macht sich so seine Gedanken zum Ozean und seine Tiefen. Mit Hilfe der Masking-Technik und Distress Archival Ink Black Soot habe ich hier verschiedene Stempel und Schablonen kombiniert, um dieses surreales Bild zu kreieren. Alles, was man dann noch braucht sind ein Aquarell-Pinsel, Distress Oxides und Wasser zum Kolorieren.

The Professor of Tim Holtz has gone into the deep and ponders thoughts and theories about the ocean. With the help of the masking technique and Distress Archival Ink Black soot I have combined Stamps and Stencils to create this surreal picture. All you need to finish it off is a Watercolour Brush, Distress Oxides and water.

Schritt für Schritt – Step by Step

Rechts sind die Elemente für das Bild kombiniert, links sind die Elemente einzeln gestempelt. Diese werden ausgeschnitten, um sie später zum Maskieren zu verwenden, wenn Farbe durch die Schablonen für den Hintergrund aufgetragen wird.

On the right all the elements are combined for the picture, on the left they are stamped independently. These will be cut out to use them for masking later when colour is applied through the stencils for the background.

Das Bild in schwarz und weiss ist fertig und kann eingefärbt werden. Für den Hintergrund habe ich das Mini Schablonen Set von Tim Holtz Nummer 46 sowie ein Detail vom Inventor 1 Set verwendet.

The picture is finished in black and white and is ready for colouring. For the background I used the Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 46 as well as a detail from the Inventor 1 Set.

Zum Einfärben habe ich einfach Farbe von Distress Oxides auf meine Mixed Media Matte aufgetragen und etwas Wasser zum Mischen. So kann man mit einem Aquarellpinsel nach und nach die Farbe aufbringen, kombinieren und vertiefen.

For the colouring process I smudged some colour from the Distress Oxide Pads onto my Mixed Media Mat and some water for mixing. With a Watercolour Brush colour can be applied, combined and deepened.
