Mit dem Canister Die von Eileen Hull habe ich die Box aus Aquarellpappe ausgeschnitten. Das gibt genügend Festigkeit und eine Grundlage zum Embossen und Färben ohne Gesso-Anstrich. Dann habe ich mit den Halloween und Poison Embossingschablonen von Tim Holtz die Seiten der Box geprägt. Mit Distress Oxides habe ich zunächst grob Farbe aufgebracht und mit Archival Inks und Gesso teilweise Bereiche hervorgehoben. Nach einem Auftrag von Distress Medium Crazing habe ich Distress Inks mit dem Finger verrieben und den Hintergrund distressed.

The box was cut from Eileen Hull’s Canister Die using heavy watercolour cardstock. It’s sturdy enough and can take paint, inks and embossing without a base coat of gesso. The I embossed both sides with Tim Holtz ’s Halloween and Poison Embossing folders. For the basic colours I applied Distress Oxides and lifted the images with Archival Ink and Gesso. After applying Distress Medium Crazing I rubbed Distress Inks into the surface with my fingers to distress the background.
