Der Professor stammt aus einem der neuen Stempel Sets von Stamper Anonymous, entworfen von Tim Holtz. Und was passt besser zu einem Professor als viele neue Ideen, die in seinem Kopf herumschwirren .

The professor is part of a new stamp set from Stamper Anonymous, designed by Tim Holtz. And what better fits a Professor than lots of new ideas buzzing in his head.

Manchmal muss man einfach ein wenig experimentieren. Anstatt Yupo habe ich A4 Photo Papier in matt genommen und Siliconöl kreuz und quer drauf getropft. Anschliessend habe ich die Fläche mit Distress Oxide Sprays Spiced Marmelade, Fossilized Amber, Pellet Paint, Faded Jeans und Mermaid Lagoon eingesprüht und über Nacht trocknen lassen. Am nächsten Morgen konnte ich überschüssiges Öl und teilweise die Farbe, die nicht eingezogen war, abtupfen.

Sometimes you just have to experiment a bit. Instead of Yupo I took A4 Photo Paper matte and splattered Silicone Oil randomly on. Then I applied Distress Oxide Sprays Spiced Marmelade, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans und Mermaid Lagoon and let it dry over night. The next morning I just removed left over oil and some of the colour that did not soak into the surface

Zuerst habe ich die Zahlenreihe direkt mit Distress Archival Ink auf das Papier gedruckt. Der Kontrast war aber nicht besonders gut. Deshalb habe ich nach und nach die Stellen, wo gedruckt werden sollte, vorbereitet. Hierfür habe ich ganz schwach mein Motiv vorgedruckt und dann sofort den Bereich und seine Farben mit einem Pinselreiniger aufgehellt. Andere Reiniger / Flüssigkeiten haben sich nicht so gut bewährt. Die Zahlenreihe habe ich nochmals in rot auf Collage Papier gedruckt und dieses mit Distress Collage Medium matte über den ersten Druck verklebt.

First I printed the row of numbers with Distress Archival Ink directly onto the surface. The contrast was not very good. Therefore I prepared each spot one after the other where I wanted to print. I started by printing my image very lightly in Archival Ink and immediately applied Brush cleaner to remove some of the colour and lighten the area. Other liquids did not work as well. I printed the row of numbers in red on collage paper and fixed it on top of the original spot with Distress Collage Medium matte.

Nach und nach habe ich die verschieden Elemente aufgearbeitet. Zuerst alle Drucke, die ich teilweise mit Glossy Accents versehen habe. Die Stencil Chips für das Wort IDEAS habe ich noch mit Archival Inks in Black Soot und Barn Door ein wenig nachgefärbt und erhöht aufgeklebt. Durch Stencil habe ich die Buchstaben und Sterne mit schwarzer Embossing Paste aufgebracht und die transparenten Flügel an die kleinen Lampen geklebt. Den Spruch ‚Vertraue Deinem Herzen‘ stammt aus einer Word Chips Packung von Idea-ology, diesen habe ich mit Distress Crayons und Archival Inks farblich angepasst und aufgeklebt. Der Rand ist mit Archival Ink in Ground Espresso bearbeitet.

One after the other element was added. First all the prints, which I partly covered with Glossy Accents. To the Stencil Chips for the word IDEAS I applied Archival Inks in Black Soot and Barn Door and glued them on slightly raised. The letters and stars were embossed with black paste through stencils. Then I fixed the transparent wings from Idea-ology to the small light bulbs. The Word Chip ‚Trust Your Heart‘ was coloured with Distress Crayons and Archival Ink in matching colours. The edges were distressed with Archival Ink Ground Espresso.
