Diese Karte war eine Auftragsarbeit zum 80. Geburtstag. Die Gestaltung wurde mir frei überlassen. Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Oxide Sprays in Kombination mit Distress Spray Stains gearbeitet. Ich arbeite hier immer auf einem etwas grösseren Stück Aquarellpapier, so dass der Ausschnitt frei wählbar ist. Die Reste verwende ich dann für andere Arbeiten. Als zweiten Schritt habe ich durch eine Schablone Strukturpaste aufgebracht. Da die Oberfläche nicht versiegelt ist, drückt sich ein wenig Farbe durch und färbt die Strukturpaste leicht ein. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich die Schablone erneut aufgelegt und mit den Tim Holtz Sets Music & Advert sowie Entomology den Text und die Noten mit Distress Archival Ink gestempelt.

This card was a customer order for a 80th birthday. I was allowed to choose the design. The background was created with Distress Oxide Sprays in combination with Distress Spray Stains. I always work on a larger piece of water colour cardstock, so that I can choose which part to use. The remaining parts I keep for other projects. In the next step I applied structure paste through a stencil. As the surface was not sealed the Distress colours slightly stained the paste. When dry I put the stencil back on and printed the text and notes with Tim Holtz Stamp Sets Music & Advert as well as Entomology with Distress Archival Ink.

Die Blumen sind aus dem Tim Holtz Stamp Sets Flower Garden und Mini Bouquet. Dazu passend gibt es die Stanzen, mit denen ich die Blumen sowie die Stängel ausgeschnitten habe. Diese habe ich dann mit den Distress Crayons eingefärbt. Zum Schluss habe ich noch die Schleife in passender Farbe und das Happy Birthday ergänzt. Die 80 wurde mit der Wonderland Bigz Stanze geschnitten.

The flowers are from the Tim Holtz Stamp Sets Flower Garden and Mini Bouquet. With the matching dies I cut the flowers and stems and coloured them with Distress Crayons. To round things off I added the ribbon and the Happy Birthday in matching colours. The 80 was cut from the Wonderland Bigz Set.
