Die Basis beider Wandbilder ist Stoff, der zunächst mit Gesso behandelt wurde. Hier habe ich das Glorious Bouquet von Tim Holtz mit Archival Ink auf Collage Papier gedruckt und von der Rückseite mit den Colour Box Blends von Eileen Hull eingefärbt. Mit einem Wasserpinsel wird das Motiv ausgelöst und mit Distress Collage Medium auf dem Stoff fixiert. Mit Texturpaste, einer Schablone sowie Distress Farben habe ich den Hintergrund bearbeitet. Die Papierpuppe und alle weiteren Elemente sind mit Collage Medium aufgebracht.

The base for both wall pictures is fabric that was treated with Gesso first. Here I printed Tim Holtz Glorious Bouquet with Archival Ink onto Collage Paper and coloured the backside with Eileen Hull’s Colour Box Blends. Using a water brush I separated the paper edges from the bouquet shape and fixed it onto the fabric with Distress Collage Medium. For the background I pushed texture paste through a stencil and coloured it with Distress Inks. The Paper Doll and all the other elements were fixed with Collage Medium.

Bei dem zweiten Wandbild habe ich das Glorious Bouquet von Tim Holtz in schwarz-weiss und auch den Hintergrund in ähnlicher Weise wie beim ersten Bild gearbeitet. Statt der Papierpuppen von Tim Holtz habe ich mir meine eigenen Puppen hergestellt. Dafür habe ich ein altes Familienbild ausgedruckt und die Figuren ausgeschnitten. Es handelt sich hier um meine Mutter und Schwester. Beide haben mir Ihre Erlaubnis zur Verwendung Ihrer Fotos gegeben. Die Blumen, Text und das Fotomotiv habe ich mit dem Collage Medium fixiert.

For the second wall picture I applied the Glorious Bouquet in black and white and the background was created in a similar way like above. Instead of using one of the Tim Holtz Paper Dolls I created my own. I printed an old family photo and cut the shapes out. This is my mum and my sister, when she was little. Both have given me permission to use their photos for my work. The flowers, text and the paper dolls were fixed with Collage Medium.
